Access Control Adelaide
Access control relates to how you open and close the automated item. The different systems shown below are proven products and can be combined and used in conjunction with each other. Systems can be programmed to close gates after a period of time or to remain open until the access control is activated again.

Transmitters
The most common of all access methods – this is the little box that contains one or more buttons on it to control your automation. Many transmitters now have multiple buttons that are capable of controlling different items. For example, a four button remote controller may be programmed to control a front gate, a rear gate and both garage roller doors. Additionally, the same controller can be programmed to operate the automation at another location – one controller, more than one site!
Industrial, commercial or Strata applications can have controllers that may even be programmed out of the system if one is lost or if a tenant leaves, taking the controller with them.
Key Switch
A ‘mechanical’ switch. These may even be matched to your house or office key, if desired.
Mobile telephone activated entry
Provided the approved mobile number is recognised by the special card in the automation, your gate will open or close. This function can operate even if you are interstate or overseas.
This option does require one or two active Telstra mobile phone SIM cards which are available at a very low monthly cost. Our friendly staff are able to arrange all this for you, including the activation of your account with Telstra.
Keypad
A reliable method of access control, which is most commonly used for pedestrian access. Access codes are easily changed. Our systems can lock out all users for ten minutes should an invalid code be entered three times in succession.
Intercom access
Our video intercom systems can initially act as a doorbell before anyone has even entered your premises. The occupant can view who has activated the system from the safety of their house and can allow access to the premises through the simple push of a button.
Indoor push buttons
Simple buttons can be installed wherever push button access is desired.
Card or button readers
These are primarily used in commercial applications and vary in sophistication. These systems may restrict entry of staff to selected areas and may also record access history. Some access cards or buttons may also be programmed out of the system should a card or button be lost or stolen.
Biometric access
Again, these systems are primarily used in commercial applications where security is of critical importance. The most common systems available include fingerprint recognition or retinal scanning.
